Nomads Clothing

AW24 collection photoshoot

Nomads is an ethical women's clothing brand rooted in sustainability and fair trade. Their AW24 collection was designed with natural fabrics and autumnal tones, blending contemporary fashion with timeless craftsmanship. The goal of the campaign was to showcase their wonderful garments while connecting with the rich heritage of Cornwall.

Creative Decision Making

Art Direction & Location

The campaign aimed to align Nomads’ ethical values with Cornwall’s historical and natural landscapes. Five distinct locations were selected to visually represent the connection whilst offering a contrasting backdrop to the garments.


Styling


20 outfits were styled to complement each location, enhancing both the collection’s versatility and the campaign’s focus on heritage and sustainability.

  • The campaign aimed to align Nomads’ ethical values with Cornwall’s historical and natural landscapes. Five distinct locations were selected to visually represent the connection, whilst offering a contrasting backdrop to the garments. Each of the locations held significance in the local area, with a mixture of natural spaces and more urban, but historical spots. Using a range of shoot locations allowed visual diversity, utilising unique lighting in each space, adapting the looks and model's movements to the location and allowing each look to be uniquely placed.

  • Twenty outfits were styled to complement each location, enhancing both the collection’s versatility and the campaign’s focus on heritage and sustainability. Colours, fabrics and shapes were thoughtfully chosen to align with the mood and goals of the shoot. Jewellery crafted by local artisans was also paired with the clothing.

Images were edited for e-commerce, social media, and a digital lookbook, showcasing the collection and storytelling behind the brand. The project is also widely used by suppliers for marketing and extending Nomads’ brand reach.

The A/W 2024 campaign effectively highlighted Nomads’ sustainable ethos and Cornish heritage, with compelling visuals and successful engagement across platforms. This campaign reinforced Nomads' standing as a leader in ethical fashion and created a strong narrative for their audience.
